To date, 16 former NRL players will try their luck in the Super League competition in the 2025 season. From rookies to household names, here Rugby League profiles every one, from the clubs they played for to their number of NRL games and tries.
Zac Cini: 4
The winger has signed a two-year deal with Castleford Tigers from Parramatta Eels. He made his NRL debut for Wests Tigers in 2021, making four appearances.
David Armstrong: 6
The full-back has signed a two-year deal with Leigh Leopards, having made six appearances for Newcastle Knights this season, scoring five tries.
Dan Russell: 8
The 28-year-old prop has signed a two-year deal with Warrington Wolves, arriving from St George Illawarra Dragons, where he made eight appearances.
Ben Condon: 17
The 24-year-old prop forward is another Leyther recruit, signing from Manly Sea Eagles, where he has spent the last two years. Before that, he debuted at North Queensland Cowboys in 2020 and has 17 NRL games to his name, scoring five tries.
Tristan Sailor: 21
The 26-year-old has signed a two-year deal with St Helens, signing from Brisbane Broncos. Hull FC were also interested in Sailor, who debuted with St George Illawarra Dragons in 2019. He is the son of cross-code rugby star Wendon Sailor, and has made a total of 21 NRL appearances, scoring two tries.
Zac Woolford: 38
The 28-year-old has 38 NRL appearances to his name after debuting for Canberra Raiders in 2022. He is the son of former Huddersfield Giants coach Simon Woolford and will arrive in West Yorkshire on a one-year deal.
Tesi Niu: 56
The former Dolphins centre joins Leigh Leopards in 2025, signing on a two-year deal. He debuted for Brisbane Broncos in 2020 and has 56 NRL appearances to his name, scoring 20 tries.
Keenan Palasia: 68
The Samoan prop has signed a two-year deal with Leeds Rhinos, signing from Gold Coast Titans. He debuted for Brisbane Broncos in 2019 and made a total of 68 NRL appearances, scoring four tries. Leeds have also signed Cooper Jenkins, a Queensland Cup player from North Devils. However, despite being in the Newcastle Knights system, he never debuted in the NRL.
Tevita Pangai Junior: 147
One of three new NRL recruits at Catalans Dragons, the fiery prop forward, still only 28, will look to make his mark in Super League next season. He has 147 NRL games to his name, scoring 20 tries. He debuted for Brisbane Broncos in 2014 and has also played for Penrith Panthers, Canterbury Bulldogs, and the Dolphins.
Nick Cotric: 149
The winger spent all but one season of his NRL career at Canberra Raiders, with his one year outside the ACT coming at Canterbury Bulldogs. The 25-year-old made 149 NRL appearances, scoring 63 tries, and has signed for Catalans Dragons on a three-year deal.
Aidan Sezer: 172
The half-back, 33, is no stranger to Super League, having played for four years at Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos. He will now return to the comp with Hull FC in 2025, signing a two-year deal. He made 172 NRL appearances at Wests Tigers, Canberra Raiders, and Gold Coast Titans, scoring 26 tries.
Kyle Feldt: 217
The 32-year-old is one of the most household names in the NRL after an outstanding career at North Queensland Cowboys. The winger is the Cowboys' record try-scorer, with 151 to his name from 217 appearances. He debuted for the club in 2013 and made his last appearance in the NRL finals last month. He has signed for St Helens on a two-year deal.
Jordan Rapana: 219
The 35-year-old made a total of 219 NRL appearances, scoring 111 tries. He debuted at Gold Coast Titans under new Hull coach John Cartwright, before moving to rugby union. Upon his league return, he signed for Canberra Raiders and is considered one of the Green Machine's greatest ever players. He has signed a two-year deal with the Black and Whites.
Luke Keary: 231
As first reported by Rugby League Live, the half-back made the extraordinary decision to U-turn on his retirement decision, instead signing for Catalans Dragons. The 32-year-old played for Sydney Roosters in their preliminary final defeat last month and has a total of 231 NRL games to his name, scoring 48 tries. He debuted for South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2013 before moving to Easts three years later, where he won two Premierships.
Isaac Liu: 272
The 33-year-old is a three-time NRL Premiership winner with Sydney Roosters and has signed a two-year deal with Leigh Leopards. He has a total of 272 NRL appearances to his name, scoring 16 tries, and signs from Gold Coast Titans, where he has played the last three seasons.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves: 316
One of the most household NRL names, the Sydney Roosters juggernaut swaps Bondi for Hull KR in 2025. After debuting for Manly Sea Eagles in 2009, he has spent his entire career since with the Roosters, making 316 appearances and scoring 16 tries. He has also won three Premierships with the club.
