Guam Department of Education

The Guam Department of Education would like to remind stakeholders Monday, November 12is Veterans Day. There will be no classes and the GDOE headquarters in Tiyan will be closed.

Friday, November 23 is a make-up day for all GDOE elementary, middle and high schools. All schools will have classes at the regularly scheduled hours, and the GDOE headquarters in Tiyan will be open during regular business hours.

Dismissal procedures and time:

All parents or guardians should present a GovGuam IDfor students who are car riders or walkers.All parents or guardians should be at the walker's gate to pick up your child.

  • Bus riders will depart from school campus by 2:55 p.m.
  • Car riders' vehicles will enter school gates at 2:55 p.m.
  • Walkers will be released at 2:58 p.m., or when authorized adults are present during dismissal.

All students should be picked up no laterthan 3:20 p.m.

All visitors must sign in at the main office and present an ID.

Parents or guardians, check your child's school bag daily for important school documents to be completed, signed, and returned back to the homeroom teacher.

Maria Ullloastudents residingin Piga Subdivision and Chalan Koda areas will attendAstumbo Elementary School for school year 2018-2019. Parents do not need to re-register their child for the school year. All students were automatically registered at AES.
